No more rides!!!

We did it!  We survived over a week of amusement parks.  We had a great time, but we’re ready to move on – at least Becky and I are; I think the kids would keep going if they could.  We feel like we had done everything we had to do (Harry Potter and Minion stuff) by yesterday so we didn’t push ourselves today.  We slept in, got ready and headed in to the park a little after 11.  We ate lunch in Springfield with the Simpsons, and Becky and I split a Clogger Krustyburger.  We saw a cool horror makeup show that just might give me some ideas come next Halloween.  We also hit a few new rides including The Mummy and Disaster as well as some our favorites from the past couple of days including the Simpsons, the crazy red roller coaster (except for me), etc.  Of course, we rode the Hogwarts Express one more time and rode Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey.  We came back to the hotel before nine feeling like we had done everything we wanted and then some.  Next phase of the trip starts tomorrow.  I just hope I can get the rental car.  Stay tuned to see how that turns out.
