While I still love Disney, I have to admit that Universal hit a grand slam with their two Harry Potter lands – Diagon Alley & Hogsmeade and the Hogwarts Express that goes between the two.  The details and effects are amazing.  We went on Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey multiple times today and rode the Hogwarts Express a couple of times as well.  It is probably the best overall ride I have ever been on (although I still love the Haunted Mansion), and we haven't even done the new one yet! We ate breakfast at the Three Broomsticks, and we plan to ride Escape from Gringots when we go early in the morning tomorrow (the line was up to 3 1/2 hours at one point today).  We went on a bunch of other rides like Shrek, Minions, Simpsons, Men in Black, etc. this morning and evening with a few hours break in the early afternoon.  Becky and the kids also went on a couple of crazy roller coasters – I made the sacrifice and let them go while I had to hold the backpacks.  I know, I’m a saint.  Anyway, the pictures will do the rest of the talking.
