Back to the beginning

For those of you who have been following Hedrick blogs from the beginning, you may remember that the whole RV adventure began as a way to get Becky's mom (Grandma Kit) back East to visit her husband's grave at Arlington National Cemetery. Well, we are once again taking Grandma Kit back to Arlington, this time to join her husband Bob. We had the privilege of having her in our home for the last year and half of her life which came to a peaceful end with Becky holding her hand on February 5 at the age of 81. Again, the fact that we are heading back East has pushed us to take advantage of the proximity to places that wouldn't normally be in our travel zone. The trip has already taken many twists and turns even in the planning stages. I don't want to give away too many surprises at this point, but don't worry; I'll keep you posted.
